We developed a feature-rich, user-friendly, interactive web design tool catering to Client Business Analysts' UI expectations when creating documents. The tool allows users to choose from predefined themes or customize documents based on client requirements.

Project Synopsis

The client is a global investment fund data and technology leader, connecting the fund managing industry to inform better investment decisions. They wanted a web design tool to provide a feature-rich, user-friendly, and interactive experience for Client Business Analysts creating documents. The objective was to leverage technology to deliver the best UI experience for Fund Managers, Banks & Brokers, Financial Advice & Paraplanning Firms, and their end-user customers.

Project Requirements/ Context

The project aimed to test the preparedness of generated documents based on the client’s financial funds and information on different policies. A key aspect of this project was ensuring easy access to project templates and themes. Our team was provided with sample JSON data to test template generation. Designers could view reference documents to generate themes tailored to specific clients. Additionally, themes could be cloned and modified to meet individual client requirements.

Project Flow

  • Designers get the requirements from Client Business Analysts mentioned in PDFs. The document is then opened in Adobe Acrobat Reader to extract the path of the template.
  • Designers get documents that must be fulfilled and need access to the Microsoft Azure Storage Explorer application.
  • Microsoft Azure Storage Explorer helps to track & get the actual path of the template through which the template & the theme of the project is extracted locally.
  • Then, as per asked changes, reference technologies are used to work accordingly in a detailed version.

The Client Business Analyst is sometimes unable to structure requirements in an easy, accessible manner, while most content is often scattered and unsupervised. We understood it and fulfilled the requirements by getting in touch back & forth with Client’s Business Analyst so that all relevant content could be accessed based on the Client’s feedback. A predefined structure concerning the design was especially taken care of.
To develop an interactive design with limited inputs. Most often applicable classification needs to be fulfilled with limitations of not hampering the html codes. Incorporated features were implemented in the codes using CSS & JS scripts to handle these scenarios.
