Key challenges

First and big challenges is that they neither want to stop working and posting content on their old website nor wanted to refresh live database with staging.

They wanted very comprehensive mega menu and this mega menu should behave totally different on web and mobile.

They wanted integrate wistia video and that must be mapped to website and mobile design.

They wanted integrate salesforce pardot forms and must be mapped to website and mibile design.

Save artical, post, pages, as a bookmark functionality for guest user we have also created custome module for it and manage the guest user indentity as cookie that part was also a very complex and challenging.

Solution Implementation

Without refreshing the live database we need to deploy all our staging work on live for that we conducted a case study research program to for the solution. So for that we have found a solution that is export and import the content one by one so that live site should not be stopped or down and yes for that we had to added few code blocks manually from stage to live.

Second challenge was mega menu so we have done some researched for finding a mega menu as per their design so finally we did not found any plugin which can fulfill their requirement. Finally we decided that we will customise the mega menu plugin using php and query so initially we have spent 7 to 10 days only customization of mega menu which have different layout on mobile and web. Finally we have done it.

Implementation of wistia video also a very challenging task becuase wistial is third party utility so mapping design was very tough but lots of hardword and help with designer and use of good amount of jquery we have fixed the design.
